He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah M. Cox and Alta J. Cox (Nichols); and his brothers, Gary Dean Cox and Thomas Matthew Cox. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Elaine Cox (Royse); his children, Zach Cox (Rebecca) of Greenfield, Johanna Barr (Jonathan) of Greenfield and Jocelyn Cox of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Brock Dean (Courtney), Brady Cox, Jonathan Barr Jr. and Jada Pearce-Dietrich; his sister Carol Ann Surber of Greenfield; and his pet Hoss.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home (380 Jefferson St, Greenfield, OH 45123). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
