She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Wilson "Doc" and Lola Belle Heaton (Hensel); her husband Robert W. Acton; her son Robert J. Acton; and her sisters, Pauline Bryant and Gale Wiseman.

She is survived by : her children, Lea Anne Gabriel (Bruce) of Greenfield, Barb Mullikin (David) of South Salem and Danny Acton (Tracey) of Greenfield; and her grandchildren, Jeff Acton (Sonia Chenault), Christian Thomas (Robbie), Heather Mullikin (Jayson Kyle), Chase Mullikin (Jeweli), Ryan Williams, Evann Lewis (Matthew) and Shelby Jones (Nick). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
