She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Alden and Wanda Long (Clemmer); her husband George Franklin Pennington; her grandson Stevie Mitchell; her great grandchild Dakotah Mitchell; and her siblings, Donald Wayne Long, Richard Long, Marion Brughan, David Long, Lillian Jones, Diane Long and Roxanne Snyder.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Mitchell of Good Hope, Bobby Johnson (JP) of Virginia, Jolynn Watters (Robert) of Washington, C. H., Melissa Cook (Kelly) of Pleasant Plain, Susan Fisher of Hillsboro and Patti Carver (Virgil) of Washington, C. H.; her stepchildren, Patrick Pennington of Lineville, Iowa, Lori Ervin (Mike) of Portsmouth, Beulah Coder (Roger) of Leesburg and Erica Miller (Greg) of Bethel; and her siblings, Alden Long (Mary Ellen) of Washington, C. H. and Patricia "Patty" Kelly of Florida. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
