He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Luther and Hazel Byrd (Riffell); his wife Norma L. Byrd (Hite); and his sister Delores Dunevant. He is survived by: his son Randal L.; his daughter-in-law Sue Byrd of Camden; his stepchildren, Kathy Quinn of New Madison, Robin Plessinger of Greenville and Carla Hollinger of Versailles; his grandchildren, Aaron Byrd, Kasey Brandenburg, Lacey Thobe, Nikki Ricker, Scott Hollinger, Amber Plessinger-Williams and Heather Brown; his brother Ralph Byrd of Versailles; and his niece Cheryl Edwards. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
