He was predeceased by: his father Paul Howdieshell; his wife Elizabeth "Dori" Howdieshell; and his grandparents, Harry, Edith Beisner, Ruth and Henry Schlechty.
He is survived by: his mother Donna Mae Howdieshell (Beisner) of Greenville; his brother Kenneth Howdieshell of Hollansburg; his close friend Laura Ahrens (Lyons) of Greenville; his stepchildren, Melissa Hendrickson (Bass-Boatright), Bobby of Lewisburg and Arthur "Bubba" Dewey Boatright, Jr. (Tonya) of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Alex Myers (Jacob), Bo Hendrickson, Colt Hendrickson, Brooke Crider (Brandon), Wyatt Boatright (Raven) and Garrett Boatright. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
