He was predeceased by : his parents, Orville S. Shuttleworth and Lova E. Shuttleworth (Heisey); his former life partner Phyllis D. Shuttleworth (Moyer); his wife Eva N. Shuttleworth (Garber); his sister Bonnie Sue Shuttleworth; and his stepsons, Charles Myers and Galen Myers.

He is survived by : his sons, Gregory Shuttleworth (Donna) of Villa Hills and Mark L. Shuttleworth (Jennifer) of Loveland; his stepchildren, Pamela Sowers (Jerry) of Piqua and Sandy Myers of Piqua; his grandchildren, Addison Shuttleworth and Daniel Shuttleworth; and his stepgrandchildren, Nanette Bell, Angela Finfrock, Brian Sowers and Jonathan Myers.
