She was predeceased by: her brother Bruce Schmitz; her grandparents, Charles, Margaret Davenport, Ralph and Alvera Schmitz; her aunt Mary Jo Braun; and her brother-in-law Craig Schutte.
She is survived by: her parents, Kenneth Schmitz and Jean Borton (Davenport); her children, Evan and Karlie Dorko; her stepdaughter Madisyn Dorko; her siblings, Michael Schmitz (Christie) and Charlene Schutte; and her nieces, Kaitlyn, Halley Schmitz, Taylor and Kennedy Schutte.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tribute Funeral Homes (1000 N Broadway St, Greenville, OH 45331). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Stacy's honor to the Cancer Association of Darke County or to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
