He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Forrest Strait and Echo Strait (Rittgers); and his parents-in-law, Melvin J. Rapp and Anna M. Rapp (Lavy). He is survived by: his sons, Scott Strait (Julie) of Greenville and David Strait (Michelle Traynor) of Bradenton, FL; his grandchildren, Shantelle Alban (Marc) of Joshua, TX, Victoria Strait of Troy, OH, Christopher Strait (Erica Basile) of Clearwater, FL, Stephanie Strait (Tyler Pridgeon) of Bradenton, FL, Tyler Strait of Cincinnati, OH and Alexander Strait of Cincinnati, OH; and his great grandchildren, Elias Alban, Echo Lucas, Kylo Lucas and Arro Lucas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tribute Funeral Homes (1000 N Broadway St, Greenville, OH 45331). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ansonia United Methodist Church (200 W High St, Ansonia, OH 45303). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens (8677 OH-118, Greenville, OH 45331).
