He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Powers and Marilyn Powers-Stiver (Best); and his brother John Powers. He is survived by: his daughters, Kristina Powers Robitsch of Olympia, WA and Chelsea Powers of Norwalk; and his sisters, Carolyn Brown (Tom) of Norwalk and Mary Lou Elston (Tom) of Shiloh. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
