He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Oney and Wanda Oney (Kennard); his brothers, Ronald, Larry, Mitchell and Alfred Oney; and his sisters-in-law, Katherine and Corinne Oney.
He is survived by: his brothers, Gerald Oney (Connie) of Greenwich and Gordon Oney of North Fairfield; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Oney and Mary Oney of New London. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
