She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Balash and Ann Pacuit Balash; her husband Gino G. Sgalla; and her son John H. Sgalla. She is survived by: her daughters, Jo Ann Puch and Cynthia J. Sgalla; her grandson Christopher J. Sgalla; her brother Steve Balash, Jr. (Beverly); and her nieces, Michelle Lencioni (John), Stephanie Milburn (Michael) and Anne Marie Balash.
