He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schreckengost and Joanne Schreckengost; his brother John; his brother-in-law Charles McPeek; his in-laws, Carl and Cleo Pickering; and his stepson Christopher Swaim.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn (Pickering); his daughter Rebecca Schreckengost; his stepchildren, Brian, Rachel and Matthew Swaim; his grandchildren, Michael Lowe, Jacob Hohla, Billie and Braxton Johns; his sisters, Autumn McPeek, Vickie Cantrell (Jack) and Phyllis Fulton (Marty); and his sister-in-law Virginia Hollingsworth (Carl). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the American Legion (3363 McDowell Rd, Grove City, OH 43123).
