She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Rein and Elsie Rein (Schamber); her husband Raymond E. McDonald Sr.; her children, Donald Ray McDonald of Columbus, OH and Karen Ann McDonald; and her brothers, Waldemar Rein and Larry Rein (Wanda).

She is survived by: her daughter Becky Hoover of Orient, OH; her grandson Mason Hoover of Orient, OH; her son-in-law Steve Hoover; and her sister-in-law Harlene Rein of Wilmington, OH. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
