He is survived by: his father Samuel Valent; his wife Mary Valent; his children, Regina Valent, Nicole Valent and Mark Applegate (Lauren Maddern); his grandchildren, KC Schaible, Emily and Chris Mays; his great grandchild Valerie; his cousin David Valent (Elaine) of Lebanon, Ohio; his friends, Phyllis Donadio Shelton of Virginia, John, Emily Kipper of New York, Anthony and Susan Cardinal of Ohio; Steven Turner, Kevin Cheney and Amy Hall (Tony Hall).
