The memory of Helen Barton of Grove City, Ohio, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Thevenin and Mary Saunders Thevenin; and her husband Clarence Barton, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Barton of Columbus, Elizabeth L. Barton of Grove City, Ohio and Mark Barton (Guyla) of Prospect, Kentucky; her granddaughters, Cindy Barton, Holly Martin (Mike), Kelly Bush and Samantha Freeze (Ben); her great grandchildren, Gene, Jacob, Ethan, Connor McKenna, Mollie, Maeve, Johanna and Hank; and her great great grandchild Gene III.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Centenary Cemetery (113 Centenary Church Rd, Gallipolis, OH 45631).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
