She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Burris and Olive Burris; her siblings, Jack Burris and Joan Ayers; her former husband Donald G. Hoffman; her nephew Jackie Burris; her great great grandchild Carter Gene Hoffman; and her close friend Mark Jeffrey "Snuffy" Kealhier.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine E. Reedy (Hoffman) and Donald G. Hoffman, II (Cyd Ball); and her grandsons, Jason Barnes, Joshua Reedy, Donald G. Hoffman III, Daniel Hoffman, Jeremy Ball and Jeffrey Hoffman. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
