He was predeceased by: his wife Judith A. Thomas; his parents, Frank Thomas and Edna Thomas; his sister Rita; and his brother-in-law Al Ames.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Thomas (Karen), Patricia Eckert (Ralph), Bonnie Thomas and Jeri Fissel (Matt); his grandchildren, Marc, Kelsie, Kirsten, Amanda, Lauren and Benjamin; and his great grandchildren, Rylie, Luke and Rhys. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Graumlich Funeral Home (1351 S High St, Columbus, OH 43207). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may direct contributions in memory of Lawrence to Mount Carmel Hospice.
