He was predeceased by: his father Jesus; and his wife Janet June Barton. He is survived by: his sons, Gene Barton (Maria), Randy Barton (Kathy) and Jeff Barton (Tracy); and his grandchildren, Shelley Neaves (Scott), Tiffany Barton, Patrick Covell, Stephen Barton (Elizabeth), Samantha Barton (Austin Wade), Jessica Barton (Zach Barker) and Brooke Barton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Newcomer Southwest Chapel (3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at the Harrison Township Cemetery (5001 Union St, South Bloomfield, OH 43103).
