Martha Jo (McCorkle) Williamson Obituary

We announce the death of Martha Jo (McCorkle) Williamson of Grove City, Ohio, who passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 77. Martha will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira McCorkle and Opal McCorkle (Hammond); her husband Gid Williamson; her sister Mary Borland; and her siblings-in-law, Sue McCorkle and Charles Bullock.

She is survived by: her children, Marsha Taylor (Michael), Gid David Williamson (Annette) and Mary Beth Sparks (Jason); her grandchildren, Matthew Taylor, Michael Taylor and Olivia Grace Sparks; and her siblings, Janet Bullock and Gerald "Guy" McCorkle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
