He was predeceased by: his parents, A. H. Branson and Juliet Branson (McClerkin); and his wife Kathleen Branson. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Knodel (Chris) and Sara Easley (Brian); his stepchildren, Jason Ruddy (Momoko), Emily Hooper and Loretta Ramsey; his grandchildren, Kaiya and Kaden Knodel; and his sister Linda Byrd. He is also survived by his nephews, and many friends.
