He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Thompson and Ruth Thompson (Ryan); and his siblings, Bob, Jim, Bill Thompson, Marjorie VonDoch, Martha Dunnagan and Catherine Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Thompson; and his children, Steve Thompson (Susan), Kevin Thompson, Tammy Bowen (Mark), Tara Thompson, Cara Thompson and Lisa Wilkinson (Todd).
Viewing will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spence Miller Funeral Home (2697 Columbus St, Grove City, OH 43123). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Grove City Cemetery (4399 Grove City Rd, Grove City, OH 43123).
