He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar and Forest Rose Chappelear Sr.; his son William Edgar Chappelear III (Jackie); and his brother Norman "Sonny" Chappelear (Marie). He is survived by: his wife Louise Chappelear (Flynn); and his children, Jim Chappelear (Barbara), Jon Chappelear (Leslie) and Alisa Mayberry (Terry). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
