He is survived by: his son Robert McNicol (Shelly); his granddaughters, Annika and Nina McNicol; his daughter Amy Dieckhoner; his grandsons, Chase and Mitchell Dieckhoner; his daughter Suzanne (Shawn Brace); and his grandchildren, Allison Nyemetz (Jack) and Will Brace.
