He was predeceased by: his parents, Llyod Dale Massie and Carol Rakes; his stepmother Charlotte Massie; his sister Della Massie; his children, Crystal Massie and Joseph Massie; his grandchildren, Angelina Massie, Mariana Arenas Massie (Mary Ann), Antonia Tonatzy Arenas Massie, Jesus Arenas Massie, Crystal Arenas Massie, Raven and Kaelìn Ellinger; his great grandchildren, Jose Jesus, Angel Eduardo and Nathan Saul; and his sibling's children, Jonathon, Donnie Estep, Stacey Wallace, Caden Dixon and Sara Hampton.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Obetz Cemetery (4455 Groveport Rd, Obetz, OH 43207).
