He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Lee (Boehm); his parents, Edward Floyd and Dora Lillian Schleppi (Pestel); his sister Doris (Schleppi); his brothers-in-law, Dr. James David Utzinger and Lawrence Emil Boehm Jr.; his niece Annette Utzinger; and his godson Daniel Edward Cook.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Edward Schleppi, Mark Steven Schleppi (Ann) and Brian Lee Schleppi (Bridget); his brother David Floyd Schleppi (Arlene); his sister-in-law Joann Boehm; his granddaughter Melissa Miller (Steven); and his great grandchildren, Blake, Tyler and Chase Miller.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spence-Miller Funeral Home (2697 Columbus St, Grove City, OH 43123). A masonic service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
