He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Slater and Hermine Slater (Pommer). He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Fiorillo (Jim) of Port Murray, NJ and Susan Sewell (Jeff) of Columbus, OH.; his nieces and nephews, Jessica Fiorillo, Jamie Fiorillo, Tim Fiorillo (Sara), Hannah Sewell and Hailey Sewell; and his cousin Shannon Slater (Troy).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David's memory to the Columbus State Community College Foundation, Auto Support Funds to be used on a new building to house the future of the CSCC Automotive Department that David spoke about often. Donation envelopes will be available on the night of his service.
