He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Ellis and Emma Ellis (Hinkle); his wife Ruth Ellis; his daughter Niki Ellis; and his siblings, Donald Ellis, Jackie Ellis, Mary Fellure, Bobby Dean Ellis, Chopper Ellis, Michael Ellis and Joe Ellis.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tyler Ellis, Anthony Ellis and Amya Golden; his siblings, Brenda Evans (Red), Maggie White, Ray Ellis (Patricia), Allie Clark and Todd Ellis; and his friend R. Woodyard Co. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
