She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Chaffin and Wilma Chaffin; and her brothers, James Walter Chaffin, Marion Chaffin, Jay Chaffin Jr. and William "Bill" Chaffin.
She is survived by: her son Joe Chaffin (Vivirlie); her grandchildren, Vas and Kem Belbar; and her sisters, Christine Parsley and Martha Spradlin (Michael). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
