With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rex Dean Stephens of Groveport, Ohio, born in Talladega, Alabama, who passed away on January 17, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Louie Stephens and Myrtle Stephens (Wyatt). He is survived by : his children, Tamera Kennedy (Chad), Tracy Stephens, Teresa Watterman (Arthur) and Hobert Payne Jr. (Susan); his grandchildren, Luke Kennedy, Logan Kennedy, Matthew Stephens (Elizabeth), Barbara Stephens, Corey Payne (Rachael), Melissa Roberts, Chelsea Payne, Alexis Payne and Zachary Payne; his siblings, Jearlean Carmack, Dixie Pruitt, Virginia Thorton, Cynthia Gunter, Brenda McNeal (Larry), Donald Stephens (Kathy) and Billie Joe Stephens (Pat); and his wife Betty Stephens. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
