He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona (Stallbaum) and Vernon Cavinder; his siblings, Frank and Judy Perl (Gail); his brother-in-law Walter Conley; and his nibling Terry Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Patty (Adkins); his children, Mark Wayne (Kay) of Van Wert and Kristin Kay Miller (George) of Macomb; his grandchildren, Brittany Cavinder, Aaron Cavinder and Ryan Miller (Erika); and his sister Elizabeth Conley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Middle Creek United Methodist Church (19367 Rd 24, Grover Hill, OH 45849). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Edwin's memory to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research.
