She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred B. Whitley and Ruby D. Whitley (Orr); and her brother Roy Anthony Whitley. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia A. Haydon of Austin and Janice; her grandchildren, Robin Turner of Oregon, David Roland of Hamden and Reubin Zellner of Hamden; her great grandchildren, Keiko, Scarlett and John Turner; and her siblings, Francis Ware, Dorothy Basey, Allie Mae Stoddard, Marshall Lee, Fred Whitley Jr. and Harrell Whitley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
