It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alva J. Davis Jr. (Hamilton, Ohio), who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva J. Davis, and Florence Davis, Sr. (Hill); and his siblings, Darel Davis, Shirley Davish and Marjorie Cochran.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Davis; his children, Michael "Mickey" Davis (Karen), Alva J. "Jake" Davis, III, Sandra Mills (Aaron), Christy Carboy and Charles Sapp; and his friends, Whitey Shakelford and Walt Olerich. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
