She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewitt Baker Hosman and Georgeanne Bishop; her stepfather Russell Bishop; and her former husband Thomas Norman Kindness (Harold Carl "Hal"). She is survived by: her husband Harold Meier; her children, Sharon Kindness (John Guckenberger), David Kindness (Jane), Glen Kindness (Karen) and Adam Kindness (Annette); and her grandchildren, Justin Koch (Amanda), Jacqueline Oster (Evan), Jesse Koch (Paige), Erin Connell, Tyson Kindness (Vi), Rachel Kindness and Savannah Givens-King (Jeremiah). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
