He was predeceased by: his parents, Montford V. Cox and Matilda On (Garrison); his siblings, Paul Cox, Doris Forman, Karen Horton and Joyce Hayes; his wife Bette Jean (Bieberbach); and his grandson David Cox.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel Cox (Debbie) of Nebraska, IN., Anita Turner of Camden, OH, Carla Smith of Hamilton, Timothy Cox of Hamilton and Peter Cox (Sasha) of Aurora, IN.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
