She was predeceased by: her sons, Mark (Marilyn) and Thomas; and her husband Irvin Niemoeller. She is survived by: her sons, David and Kevin (DeLisa); her grandchildren, Deborah, Stephen, Andrew (Andrea) and Benjamin; and her great grandchildren, Michael, Abigail, Isabel, Emma, LillyAnne, Melody, Levi and Brooks.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Hospice of Hamilton or Shauen & Krista Trump, a Lutheran missionary family Caroline has long supported.
