He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben L. Raines and Cora E. Raines (Riley); his wife Edythe Willa Mae White "Mae"; and his children, Debra Jean Fightmaster and Chuck Raines.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Richard Raines (Margaret), William Ben Raines, Marcia Marie Craig (late Jeff), Pamela Rae Bowers (Bill) and Cynthia Ann Baker (Terry); his son-in-law John Fightmaster; his grandchildren, Doug, Kim, Timothy, Saralyn, Aaron, Chris, Brad, Chuck, Craig, Stephanie, David, Mollie and Madelyn; and his brothers, Bobby Raines (Linda) and Larry Raines (Pat). He is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to Bridge Church of the Nazarene.
