She was predeceased by: her parents, Phyllis Purdy (Saylor) and Richard Coomer; her stepmother Polly Coomer; her parents-in-law, Eileen Oakes and Don Oakes; and her brother Andrew Purdy.

She is survived by: her husband Donnie Oakes; her sons, Chris Oakes (Jamie) and Jacob Oakes (Kayla); her stepson Brandon Collins; her grandchildren, Nora Oakes, Alexander Oakes and Holden Oakes; her siblings, Karen Coomer and Dan Coomer (Tracy); and her stepfather Ken Purdy. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.
