He was predeceased by: his father Spencer Bright; and his uncle Ron Creek. He is survived by: his son Owyn Bright; his mother Rae Bright; his siblings, Alex Bright and Sarah Spradling (Nic); his niece Callie Spradling; and his aunt Renee Creek (Summer Muntz).
