He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson Hawkins and Helen Mary Hawkins "Tepker"; and his brothers, Douglas Wayne Hawkins and Gerald Bowman. He is survived by: his brothers, Gary Bowman of Atlanta Georgia, Gregory Hawkins of Atlanta Georgia and Roger Hawkins of Indianapolis Indiana.
