He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbin Wooten and Sabrina Wooten (Richie); his siblings, Atta Mae Brumley, Camzie Eversole, Maxine Ross, Ora Hollin, Elvie Brumley, Zola Stewart, Annie Henson and Square Wooten; his grandson Kennie Gentry; and his great grandchild Chayton Gentry.
He is survived by: his children, Kandi Johnson (Philip), Danny Wayne Wooten (Mindy), Angie Duncan (Mike), Jamie Wooten (Shannon) and Tisha Robinson (Gary); his grandchildren, Amanda Jones, Miranda Wooten, Brittany Wooten (Duncan), Mindy Wooten, Dallas Robinson, Michael Duncan, Cody Wooten, Kelsie Smallwood and Nathan Robinson; his great grandchildren, Chelsie, Maddison, Aiden, Gracelynn, Damon, Calen, Ka'Milah, David Jr., Kymora, Jefe and Grayson; his sister Norma Baker; and the mother of his children Patsy Benge. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
