He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cletus Haas and Agnes Haas (Buckreus); his wife Jane Sandman; his children, Jennifer Albinus (Gerhard), David Haas Jr. (Andrea), Eric Haas (Elizabeth) and Sara Stankewicz (Eric M. P.); his grandchildren, Joseph Albinus, Justin Haas and Mary Elizabeth Haas; and his siblings, John Haas (Margaret), Robert Haas (Pamela), Daniel Haas (Kimberly), Mary Ann Need (Bill) and Kathleen Ruschman (Bill).
In the tradition of no move being without problems, they moved to Berkeley Square Retirement Campus during the Covid lockdown of 2020.
