He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Burtt and Crystel Holton Ashby; his daughters, Amy L. Hayes [Douglas] and Ginger L. Homan (John); his grandchildren, Alex (Maclana Mowry) and Emily Hayes; his daughter Avery Homan; his siblings, Dr. Jon K. Ashby of Abilene, TX, James B. Ashby [Melodee] of Lebanon, OH and Mary Ann Willis [Gary] of Plano, TX; and his wife Judy. He was also cherished by three nephews, four nieces, a grandniece and a grandnephew.
