He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest S. Goffena and Anne Goffena (Taylor); and his siblings-in-law, John Scully, Hank Dickman and Carol Dickman.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Goffena of Minster; his sons, Jack Goffena (Sharon), Mike Goffena (Susan) and Sam Goffena (Kirsten); his grandchildren, Cindy (Thieken), Kathy, Nicki (Swearingen), Amanda, Ben, Alex, Michael and Sarah Goffena; his sister Barbara Scully (Goffena); and his siblings-in-law, Tom, David Dickman and Dottie Dickman. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends.
