He was predeceased by: his father Floyd Collins Jr.; his brother Ron Collins; his in-laws, Marion, Irene Adams, Robert, Twila Altmaier and Tonya Payne; and his grandparents, Wilma, Virgil Wright, Odessa, R. B. Shifflet and Floyd Collins.
He is survived by: his friend Rick Gaffney; his wife Donna Collins (Adams); his children, Ashley Thomas Collins, Alicia Marie Elam (Bill) and Chris Collins; his grandsons, Dylan Michael Elam and Caden William-Lee Elam; his mother Joyce Collins; his brothers, Tim Collins (Laura), Steve Collins (Janice) and Jamie Collins; his aunts, Gerry Perkins and Anita Sibcy; his nephew Justin Collins (Debbie); his great-nieces, Della and Doris; and his nephew Jacoby Collins. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home (3950 Pleasant Ave, Hamilton, OH 45015). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Dayton National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's memory to the Greater Hamilton USBC, where his daughter, Alicia, serves as President.
