He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Sandlin and America Sandlin (McDaniel); his wife Gracie Sandlin (Alcorn); and his siblings, John Sandlin, Eli Sandlin Jr., Larry Sandlin and Velma Sapp.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carson Sandlin and Jean Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Floyd's name to Timberhill Baptist Church.
