He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervine Gross and Rachel Sandlin Gross (Barger); his wife Nancy Sandlin (Ingram); his children, Vickey Gardiner, Rickey and Glenn Ratliff; his siblings, William, Garfield, Delbert, Homer and Mary Strong; and his niece Candace Robinson.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jason Combs (Jen) of Hamilton, Kimberly Combs and Sarah Gardiner of Hamilton; and his siblings, Lillie Robinson, Ford Sandlin of Hamilton and Bobby Sandlin of Perry County, KY. He is also survived by many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
