He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Franz and Vivian Franz (Howe). He is survived by: his wife Rose Franz; his children, Cybil Lachenman and Jonathan Franz (Elizabeth Odum); and his grandchildren, Gary (Anna), Emma, Jessica and Jamie. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
