He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Schimpf and George Schimpf; his daughter Kristi Schimpf (Guckiean); and his sister Beverly Schimpf (Huber). He is survived by: his wife Carole Schimpf; his daughters, Tracee Schimpf (Smith), Lisa Schimpf and Josephine Guckiean; his sister Jan Schimpf (Clause); his grandchildren, Tiffani Guckiean (Ruth) and Nathan Panter; and his great grandchildren, Harrison and Murphy. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Gary's memory to a veteran's organization or hospice care foundation of your choice.
