He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Roark and Dena Roark; his wife Dorothy Roark; his children, Gene E. Roark Jr. and Diane Corrie; and his siblings, Donna, Sandy, Dale and Lowell.

He is survived by: his children, Jeff Roark (Shelly), Kimberly Neff (Roger), Robin Johnson (Mark) and Scott Roark (Vicky). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson.
