He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Pater and Marie Pater; and his wife Martha Pater. He is survived by: his children, Karen Chavies (Keith), Lisa Cochran and Steve Pater (Shauna); his grandchildren, Chase, Allison and Sydney; and his great grandchildren, Ace, Lucy and Vivian.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home (1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, OH 45013). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (171 Washington St, Hamilton, OH 45011).
